The Western Access Video Excellence (WAVE) awards recognize excellence in community media production and operations within the Western States Region of the Alliance for Community Media. Entry forms for the contest, which is held annually in conjunction with the fall regional conference, are available in June. Varied categories include documentary production, talk shows, community impact programming, performing arts, and many more. Both professional and nonprofessional divisions are available.
